Abstract Still Life Signed Bass '61 Sold
Oil on artist canvas board. 22" x 28" with original frame 25 1/2" x 32". Painted in the expressive style that was popular at Mid Century with heavy brush strokes of paint and impasto build up. Viewing sections of the painting close up resembles just an abstract painting. Original frame has an inner raised band of white wood. The outer part of the frame is a green painted wood with gilt brushing and black flecks throughout. Excellent vintage condition!
