Areas of heavy impasto that fold and peak enliven this work on 3/4" wood. As this is acrylic - these impasto areas were probably created with an acrylic medium & or a type of tissue or paper mixed in these peaks are soft to the touch and bounce back.  Areas of deep drips and splatters are also evident as well as soaking.

Great colors throughout: blues, greens, greys, purple, orange & red.

Condition: Everything I sell is vintage - it has lived a previous life. Painting in Very Good Vintage Condition.

Vintage later Mid Century Modern Abstract Expressionist Drip Action Painting   Sold

A multi layered process - a medium brown is soaked, stained and dripped. Then a darker brown, a orange-brown, a lighter orange, a yellow and a red are all dripped in multiple directions.

A blob of off set white with a cobalt blue blob - & the painting is finished with splatters of white, blue, yellow & red.

Acrylic on canvas. Signed Herb Eisman. 40 1/2" x 30 1/2" in brass frame.
